A Special announcement from TOY HUNT.......

as much as it pains me ,, this would be the last TOY HUNT,, the reason is that we are embarking on a new challenges and this would require most of time...  I'll be BUSY as ever...

I posted before that we are planning on moving... yup ,, we decided to build our Dream Home and this is where it gonna happen take a peek of the land....

I've  been busy cleaning up the house ......... scrubbing , tidying all the bits ,, because we are putting our house on the market.... I hope that we can sell this lovely home quick so we can start our new adventure in life....

To all TOY HUNTERS   you are all appreciated !!!!!!! Ive meet new friends and may we continue to visit each other....  

TOY HUNT"s Last theme is Educational Toy/s 

  These are some of the toys that found a new home ....

My kids pre loved baby toys that I gave to a friend ,, they are educational with all the shapes and numbers ,, they are also colourful and FUN......

We visited a friend who just had a baby boy named Mitchell 2 weeks ago and as I tidy up the house I have to declutter and give away some stuff.....

Next week I am going to visit Jigi who is also a member of TOY HUNT, she just had a baby girl named Hannah,, Im looking forward on meeting her and the kids... I'll keep you all updated...

Toy Hunt (Silly/Funny Toys)

TOY HUNT is back!!!!!! and this week's theme is Silly/Funny Toys ...



This is B2's toy Tanner which is Barbie's pet dog...

What is so funny/silly about this is that the Dog has a dog food that you can place in the dogs mouth and then comes out as a poop,,,,

placed it in the bin and the back of the bin is a container for dog food!!! hey its Recyclable !!! ha ha ha.... 

 anyway...  B1 was checking for the Food/poop......

Hummm.... where is it now?????

Hello everyone.. Ive been extremely busy the past few weeks,,, I've been at work everyday because our secretary at work is on holiday .... so I have to be there to do her job... so I wasnt able to update my blog ... but next week I'll have time again to blog...

Toy Hunt (Collection of Toys)

This weeks TOY HUNT is about collection of TOYS...

Yeah,,,, it is really addictive,,, we spent thousand of $$$ already and they released new collection of trains for 2009!!!!!!!
Wheww!!!! everytime you buy a train in the packet they have a little book of trains and their names and Braiden would look at it and tell me what to buy next time!!!!!And to think my hubby just gave in to Braiden's whim this afternoon,, he bought him the Salty with Sea cargo trucks....
He is just nuts about Thomas,,, I though that he had outgrown his love for Thomas when he received a Lego City for his birthday,,, but his love for Thomas was reignited when we took him to A Day with Thomas see here for the pics....

.Aside from the Take along ,, he also have some battery operated Thomas complete with tracks but I have to put it away in the box,,, It is massive,, and I dont want my house to be a Museum of Thomas....

But these Take along are collectible items...... we are almost complete with the trains ,,, some are already rare,, like Bertie the Bus which I bought on good old Ebay!!!!!!!

Toy Hunt (Battery operated Toy/s)

TOY HUNT time again and this time its easy because its a Battery Operated Toy/s as this week's theme.

There is a story about this toy Charlie Coal the grill which is a good toy with batteries  and it talks as you play a pretend cooking....

Last month ,we were invited to a birthday party,, so I went in my magic garage and took this toy out....


Well,, magic garage as I call it,, because I keep some toys in there , whenever there is a TOY sale I buy toys that are really cheap and keep them knowing that its gonna be of good use, we are always getting invited to birthday parties  so I dont have to worry about buying gifts..

So back to the story.... I took out the Charlie Coal out and was about to wrap it up,,, but my kids did not stop bugging me that they wanted the toy!!!!!  They are so excited and they said to keep it for them,,,  oh well,,,,,, so I went inside the magic garage and took the Leap Frog Word Launch instead,,, since the kids already have the same toy like this ,, I juts thought that the Charlie the coal is appropriate because the bday celebrant is turning 3 ,, and the Leap Frog is for ages 4 and up,,, well anyway,, it turned out the the celebrant likes the Leap Frog and my kids are enjoying the Charlie the Coal!!!

Toy Hunt (Square Toy/s)

Hello everyone....
Hoping that you are all having a relaxing Saturday, Its long weekend here in OZ and public holiday on Monday too... aside from that its SCHOOL HOLIDAY!!!! It means I'll be busy getting my kids pre occupied..

This week's theme is SQUARE toy/s hummm.. I had a hard time hunting for square toys ,, most of my kid's toys are rectangle and circle ,, I was a bit hesitant to use these Peek a blocks again ,, but no choice ,, I concentrated on the square shapes of the Peek a Block Rollin Tumbling Dump truck and the activity container .

At one point I was buying all the peek a blocks ... I was hooked to it and if there is a new release  I would be the 1st to buy it,,,, but now the kids have outgrown them,, although they play with it occasionally ,, I am not ready to part with it... I enjoy looking through them and feeling it... hummmm,,, is there something wrong with me??? ha ha ha ,, so whenever I go out and see the latest Blocks ,, I have to master self control .....whoooo....

Hummm,, so I headed off to Bianca's room,, and there it was her room full of wings!!!!! because her bedroom is decorated with butterflies and even her bed cover and pillow cases!!!!!

Toy Hunt (Wild Animal Toy/s)

TOY HUNT time and this week's theme is Wild Animal...

I wanted to show a ferocious wild animal here ,, but I opted for a Cutie...
These are B2 (Bianca) Littlest pet shop collection.

The girl and boy monkeys are happily hanging around while the Panda is trying to be cute and trying to balance himself.....

I took the opportunity to take the photo when I saw B2 carrying her Pet shop house upstairs to her bedroom,, since her massive doll house is also upstairs ,, might as well bring her other toys together,, so that she can play in one spot.... but mind you , she is very good with her toys and she packs them away neatly.... 

Thank Goodness I've got a Neat Freak child!!!! unlike the big sis who is terrible and B1 the boss of the house.... 

I'm just elated to see that B2 is helping me with the chores without being asked and she'd quite good for a 4 year old lil missy.......

This is Bianca's Teddy bear which she received last Christmas.

The bear's name is TJBeary from Playskool  

what I like about this,  is ....it reads a story and moves his mouth and hands,, It comes with a book so children can follow what TJ is saying.

It is battery operated and there is a cartridge holder at the back. play button, music button and activity .. But the other night before Bianca went to bed I gave it to her , and told her that TJ bear will read a story for her,, after awhile she came down and I put her back to bed and she asked me to bring TJ downstairs , she was scared... cant blame her,,, 

According to Wikipedia The name Teddy Bear comes from the November 1902 American President Theodore Roosevelt's hunting trip to Mississippi, to which he was invited by Mississippi Governor Andrew H. Longino. There were several other hunters competing, and most of them had already shot something. A suite of Roosevelt's attendants, led by Holt Collier,[1] cornered, clubbed, and tied to a willow tree an American Black Bear after a long exhausting chase with hounds. This is one of Braidens fave toy ( well,,he's got heaps of favourite by the way....),, 

The VIEWMASTER  .....when I saw the Viewmaster reel which are round I know that this would fit into the category ... 

I also like this toy , I remember when I was still young and my neighbour which is also my friend has a Viewmaster,, I would just borrow it and enjoy .. That is why when I saw this toy I have to buy it for my kids , 1st it brings back childhood memories for me ( its all about ME!!!! ha ha ha)  ,  2nd I want them to enjoy this cool toy...
