We went to Bondi for the Sculpture by the Sea ,,  we have to bring Micah because it is a part of her Art and Visual class to observe the exhibit...

It was a gloomy Sunday morning ,, and BUSY day ,,, we cannot find a parking and it was raining!!!! The long line of people walking  to and heaps of photographers capturing the event..
Good thing my kids are well behaved and loved looking at some interesting art .....

Sculpture by the Sea began in 1996 with an exhibition held over one day at Bondi and is now an annual event. In 1995 David Handley was living in Prague and visited an outdoor sculpture park in Klatovy, Northern Bohemia. He was inspired to do something similar in Australia. The works are spread right across the cliff from Bronte Beach to Bondi Beach via Tamarama Beach. Every year the coastal walk is transformed into a seaside art gallery. Over 100 sculptures are exhibited in the background of sea and the beautiful coastal landscape along the two kilometer coastal walk. Sculpture by the Sea, attracts an estimated 450,000 visitors each year to view the sculptures.  by Wikipedia
