Weekend at Illawarra

Weekend is family time for us...  Most of the time we take the kids out or dine out,, or even just drive around... This week  our weekend drive led us to a beautiful place called Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk...

There are beautiful and exciting places to visit here in Australia and we never ran out of places to go to.... This was our fist visit here and it was exciting and can be quite scary for those who are afraid of heights...
It was 25 metre high walk and once you reached the swaying springboard cantilevers suspended  above the forest it was nerve wrecking!!!!
And when we reached the Tower I just cant muster any courage to go up there,,
the fact that I have Bianca with me, I decided not to go up there ,, so here we were just sitting and chillin out, Joe , Micah and my brave lil boy Braiden went up....

The award winning Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk is Australia's Premier Rainforest Experience. The 1500 metre rainforest walk includes the 500 metre long, 25 metre high elevated treetop walk which provides a new and unique viewing perspective of the rainforest along the Illawarra escarpment. The walkway's two swaying springboard cantilevered sections take you to the edge of the escarpment. Ensure you climb the spiral staircase and take in the breathtaking views from the Treetop Walk's 45 metre high lookout tower - Knight's Tower.
