I was browsing online the other night before I go to sleep when I saw some kustom amps from musicians friend and it immediately remind me of my childhood days. I have a very happy and colorful childhood for my parents let me discover and experience things on my own.
My sis Jen and I used to play paper dolls and of course dress up. We climb trees and even roof of our neighbor to play and have a snack. There are no gadgets back then so we played on our backyard and garage. Pretty awesome.
My older brother keeps on playing his electric guitar that sometimes we felt it was just too noisy..lol. He also plays rock music while my sis and I just continue to play with our little toy dolls and mini kitchen set.

Hall Art
I love Pinterest for there are just too many ideas that anyone can get an inspiration. I have made some DIY arts and got a lot of tips for the home and fashion just by browsing that site.
I even saw this hall art where I can made. This is where I can display the drawings or any creations by my daughter and son. It can also help them be more creative when they will see this.

Tying the Knot
I love weddings! Weddings are special and romantic and I'm always looking forward in attending this special union between two couples. I remember my wedding for it is so memorable as it was held back in the Philippines. My MIL and a friend of her even attended the wedding.
Just few weeks ago, I learned that a distant cousin of ours is also going to tie the knot before the year ends. I'm so sure that they are now very busy looking wedding bands for women, wedding invitations, give-away, caterers, flowers suppliers and all. It's going to be busy days for my cousin and her soon to be husband.
Wishing them all the happiness in the world and may they know that getting married is not all bed of roses but trials also come with it.

Her Much Needed Vacation
Saw pics of my sister Jen at her FB account from her recent trip in Ilocos Region. It seems that she enjoyed her vacation together with our niece K.
She told me about this and she was excited about this trip. I'm glad she was able to take a break from her work and do this adventure. She is not that adventurous so I'm quite amazed that she embarked on this long and tiring trip. I have not been to Ilocos and it looks like it was a sight to behold and hope in the future we'll also be able to see that famous Bangui windmills, Lighthouse, Vigan and other great places there.
With the looks of it, she's going to travel more.

Driving a Car
Nothing beats owning your own vehicle for you can go anywhere any time you want. Dear hubby owns a Toyota Hilux for 3 years now while I enjoy my Nissan XTrail for 5 years already. Do I need a new one? Hmmm... why not? but at this time, we're not replacing them.
Before, I used to drop and fetch my eldest daughter to her school, dancing class and some other places but thankfully she's driving now. We gave her a cute red Holden car as a birthday gift about 2 years ago and since then she's been to many places. Just praying that she drives carefully all the time.
Back home in Pinas, we have 2 Toyota vehicles (a van and Tamaraw) for many years now ( I guess over 15 years) and it looks like they need to find toyota oem parts when they need to have it repaired. Thankfully, there are shops that sells original parts so it's pretty easy to find what they need. These vehicles served our family for a long time now and I guess they deserve a brand new vehicle soon, that is if they have the budget to buy one hehe...

Hot and Humid
Been hearing from my sister and my other friends living in the Philippines that it was just too hot and humid lately. It's nothing new because it's usually very hot and sticky when it's summer in the Philippines but it's very awesome to go to the beach, out of town and see nature. Temperature is ranging most of the times from 34-36 with matching 38 humidity. I would love to come home one day during summer time but I prefer not to bring my kids and husband for I would not want them to experience how hot it is back home.
I'd prefer the cooler months like December and January for it is also nice to go places and enjoy the trip. Right now, it's chilly here in Aussie land for winter is coming very very soon so I need to bring all the winter clothes again soon.
If it's summer and hot in Manila it's different from where I am now.

Various Collections
My older brother is a visual artist and a collector at the same time. He has this small art gallery in their house in the Philippines where he displays all his canvass paintings, photography, and various art and memorabilia collections.
He already won various national awards for photography and visual art painting competitions and before the month end, he is having a one-man-show art exhibit in an art gallery. Apart from that, he collects various memorabilia such as old photos of celebrities, stamps, magazines, vintage bottles, coins and more. I know that he'd appreciate all the coins available at moderncoinwholesale.com for silver eagles and early releases of coins such as this.
I'm not sure what he can get out of collecting such items but I'm positive that he loves doing it for I believe it can give him a different euphoria.

Our Filo Food Cravings
Lately, we've been dining out because hubby wants to taste some Filo foods every since he saw them on TV. Funny thing is, one of my friend on FB even commented if I don;t cook at home ..lol.. I do but you know there are times when you feel you already got bored with your cooking and all.. haha..
I guess I also gained weight and it looks like that I need to get portion control plates and bowls soon! I envy my sister who wanted to gain weight while me and others wanted to lose some weight and unwanted fats.. lol. It only shows that people don't get satisfied with their body weight at all.
If ever we'll go back to the Philippines for a vacation, we'll surely indulge with love of Filipino foods like caldereta, crispy pata that hubby loves so much, sinigang, nilaga, pochero, inihaw na bangus and many more. Ahhhh.. that makes me hungry!

Nail Art Obsession
It was in 2012 when I got hooked into nail art and everything about nails. Why not? It is so addicting and it can bring out the creativity in me..,, But since I got so busy with my BELLA SWEET CAKES business and with my studies right now, my nail art addiction or obsession if I can call it has slowed down. I still love doing my nails but nothing like before.
This is my very first nail art and my other nail creations. I hope I can get back to this addiction again soon!
