Much Awaited Highschool Reunion

It's been 30 years ago since my older sister graduated from our Alma mater in highschool. I have been seeing from her FB account all the photos of their activities for their upcoming reunion before the month ends. Sis is one of the organizers and as the treasurer and I can see that she is very busy along with the other organizers of their batch '84. It's not a joke to organize a big event so I salute them for they have the time and patience to go house-to-house to invite their batchmates even it's hot and humid in the Philippines right now. She is dedicated and enjoying her work, well at least she has the time to go out once in while.

I've been chatting with sis and she's kinda worried about what to wear for their reunion since it's going to be held in a hotel. A semi-formal attire is also required so for sure they will be all dolled up. With the personality that my sister has I know that she will only look for a dress with simple style and cut but I hope that she will experiment and even upgrade her sense of style. It would be nice if she can wear some hairpieces since I found some hairpieces here but since her hair is too short already, I don't think she will wear a wig or an extension. For sure, some of her batchmates who are bold and a little bit adventoruous when it comes to dressing up will wear something posh and edgy to become center of attraction.

In 3 years time, it'll be our own 30th reunion and I hope by that time, I can come home to celebrate with my own batchmates. I can't remember when was the last time I attended a highschool reunion.

Gadgets Here, Gadgets There

This technology age has stormed a lot of people, buying gadgets left and right. New models with new features are coming up almost every month and consumers are up for it. Those that are into gadgets will find themselves getting newer models each time for they want to be ahead from everyone else. Buying chargers, batteries and other accessories are not problem anymore for they are readily available online, see Battery Heads here or at the local stores.

Owning gadgets at home has brought conveniences for many people around the world making us more productive or being more techy. It has advantages and disadvantages though for some kids and even adults are just so hooked with these gadget that they already forgot that there is still another world beyond that.

Some relationships are ruined because some people are too engrossed with their gadgets that they simply can't communicate in person anymore, forgetting to talk heart-to heart to their loved ones because they are into their gadgets all the time.

Mother and Daughter Arguments

It's never too easy to be a mother and I hope that my kids will know that. Raising them to be a responsible and good people are never to easy for a mother like me. I love all my children will all my heart and they will always be my angels and treasure that was given from above.

Raising a teen or beyond that is another story. My daughter has her own decisions and things that she wanted to be done but as long as she is under my wings, I think she should follow me for I am only after her welfare. I will not think of her being a bad and harsh situation and as a parent I will do everything to shield her from that but things are not going into a good situation.

Arguments will never go away in a mother-daughter relationships and I guess a lot of moms have gone though this phase and I know it's not that easy to handle. I am just praying that things will be alright soon.

Online Shopping can be Addictive

As a mum, I wanted to ensure that the future of my kids will be good that is why my hubby and I are working hard to save for their education. I'm glad that my eldest is now in the University taking up Entertainment Management that includes business management with music. That is what she loves to take and hopefully she can finish it with flying colors.

Eventhough I wanted to penny pinch all the time, shopping can be hard to resist! Well, at least I always shop for my kids and for my house's essentials and splurge on myself when I need too. Thanks to the Internet for I can also shop at my fave online stores like target, and even at e-bay for I can get some good items and discounts. The internet is a vast space for online shoppers looking for practically anything. From simple pen, pillows, furniture to the best hammerax cymbals from guitar center and more. It's a one-stop-shop if you know how or have patience to browse all the stores where you can find the best deals as well.

Online shopping can be addictive for many shopaholics out there but for me, I try to limit my purchases for I always think of my family's finances for I have 3 kids that still needs my assistance. I know there will come a time when I can also shop till I drop when money is overflowing or when I win the lottery. For now, I have to spend wisely on my shopping.

Finding Ways to Enjoy Mummy Life

Busy mummy here but I make sure that I have my "me" time for if not I will go insane..lol One of the things I always do it to go shopping, have my nails done sometimes at the salon or in my home done by myself. I also love listening to music. Micahel Bubble always makes me giddy and inspired. Love him dearly and my husband loves him too that we play his CD in our car most of the times and we have watched some shows of him when he is here. I could not imagine not having music in our house for it'll be a boring one.

When I was a kid, I tried to learn the guitar but for some reason, I never mastered it. I don't see my kids being inclined to music but Micah did bought a guitar for herself and played too. Now, the guitar is just colelcting dust in her room. Saxophone would be a nice one to play too, and I found guys sexy when they played it. There are some exciting saxophone at wwbw and if only anyone in my family would love to play it, we might consider getting one.

A New Star is Born

It's a delight to read good news feed at my FB account. It's certainly a place where I can get some news from friends and family and to know what they are up to even without talking or seeing them for quite a while. I have learned that one of the daughters of my former HS batchmate is also here in Aussie land and I have to say that she is quite a good singer. She's been everywhere joining singing contests and singing for a charity or whatever to hone her singing skills.

I have watch a video of her and I have to say thats he has a good singing voive. She has great talent and with'more proper training and exposure, I can say that she can be a star here in Filipino community and prehaps back home too. My friend is all support for her daughter going to all singing activities and all. Parents should really need to be beside their children and encourage them more to do good. Giving them moral and financial support are just some of the best ways to encourage them to more good even if they ask them to buy rico reeds at guitar center or any musical stuff needed for their craft.

I guess a star is born again and she just needs to be exposed more and soon she'll be known as a new budding singer.

Busy Mommy Here

Things are really pretty good down here. I've been busy once again since I got to work again after our one month vacation in my home country, Philippines. It's good to be back to work since I get to see my patients and my other colleagues whom I've miss. Apart from that, I can also earn my own money. It's always good to have my own so I can buy what I want and need, it's not that I can't shop when I didn't have my work yet but there's a different feeling when you are earning your own.

I tried to bake once in while, in fact, I did some for daughter's birthday and soon for my son. I could not keep up with the orders for the  moment so I'm just baking for my family as of the  moment.

How Can I Resist Online Shopping

I'm back to work and it's something that I love doing apart from taking care of my family and shopping. I have only few hours at night to check on my mails and my social networking accounts but I never fail to visit my fave online shopping site.

Browsing online makes me happy especially when I see items on sale all the time. I know I should not dwell on shopping but how can you resist if you find good items for my kids and for the house. It's even more exciting to see some good tools from this website that hubby can use for his factory.

I'm hoping to get some new sale items soon especially the end of season sale. My dear sister back in Philippines has been telling me to look out for some sale for discounts are really quite good.

In the University

As a mom, I wanted to ensure that my kids will get the  best education that they have. I wanted my children to finish their studies and take up a course that they love. It's easy to impose something on them because we only want the best for them but sometimes what we want is not what they want and love. If we force them too much on what to do, they tend to break the rules and rebel at some point. It's normal behavior but when it is worse already it's frightening and disheartening.

I always pray that my kids will have the best life as much as possible as I only want good things for them for they are all good though at some point my eldest daughter rebels at me and my hubby. The hormones in her is so hyped up and she thought that she knows everything already.

Thankfully, she is back to school now. University in the city is the best for her chosen course and I hope that one day she will be successful and will realize that all the we are saying to her is only for the good of her. Ahh.. it's really pretty hard to raise children..... especially when they think they have all the knowledge and wisdom already.

Attend a DUI School to Get Your Driver's License Back

You just made a big mistake and are now trying to do everything you can to make things right. Your mistake was driving under the influence. You didn’t mean to drive drunk. You were simply having a good time with your friends. Unfortunately, when you started driving home, you didn't realize that you were in and out of your lane and the other drivers by you were calling the police. After being arrested and going through all of the legal proceedings, you are finally able to start getting back to normal. One of the first things you probably want to do is get your driver's license reinstated. There is a program set up for you to get your driver's license, but there are some things you need to do first. The easiest way to get things going is to attend a DUI school in Atlanta.

The Risk Reduction Program
The first thing you are going to do is complete the Risk Reduction Program. This program is for everyone who was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), driving while intoxicated (DWI), boating under the influence (BUI), illegal possession of drugs or alcohol, and other traffic offenses. Going through this class shows that you are willing to take the steps necessary to get back on the road. The first thing you need to do to register for this program is to take an assessment. The assessment is required and will take about 25-30 minutes. The cost is $82.00. After completing the assessment, you can register for the program at a cost of $210. You will spend 20 hours over the course of three, four, or five days (depending on your preference). After completing the program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Why Going through the Program Is Important
The best way to get over your DUI charge is to begin as soon as possible to get your life back to normal. Getting your driver's license reinstated is a great way to start. You are likely tired of having to have people drive you around, and your friends and family might be tired of it as well. Once you have gone through a DUI School in Atlanta, you will be able to get your license back and get on the road to recovering from your mistake.
